Web-Deployed & Easy To Use

Distillery Intelligence Developer is the application development environment for Distillery Intelligence Hub, providing business analysts with the tools for developing data models, workflow, reports, security and user interfaces.

Web-deployed, Intelligence Developer allows development to occur via a standard browser interface, allowing simple deployment across your network.

Configure Your Entity Model Simply and Quickly

The Workbench provides a rapid development capability designed to support rapid entity specification and configuration, including data type, calculations, validation and other controls, including field-level group access specification.

Workbench

Model Information Life Cycles and Business Processes

The status network editor allows definition of states and pathways between states to control behaviour over the life cycle of the entity. Roles can be assigned variable access through use of the status network, and business processes can be modelled using the status network.

Status Network

Build Intelligence-Centric Applications and Model Workflows

The Workbench combined with the status network editor allows developers to rapidly configure business processes in the system which automatically form part of the underlying intelligence repository. So, an investigation, complaint or incident can be linked with core entities like person, vehicle, organisation, etc using the intelligence repository's built-in linking capability, providing end users with a comprehensive, intelligence-centric view of operational business processes in relation to core intelligence.

Define Link Types Quickly and Simply

New link types can be rapidly added to the system and administered through the simple to use link editor interface, without needing to modify the underlying database structure or applications built with the database. This allows very fine-grained capture of relationships between entities, with easy addition of new types.

Link Editor

Constrain Links to Entity Types

Links can also be constrained between entity types, ensuring that very specific relationship types are only available to appropriate entities, such as Witness Of/Was Witnessed By between Person and Incident.

Fine-Grained Security Model

Distillery Intelligence Developer allows roles to be specified for each entity type, along with privileges which are available for each state in the status network.

Security

Control Down to the Field Group Level

Records can also be restricted down to the field group level, ensuring that information is accessed only by appropriate users, while still allowing those records to be shared with confidence across the enterprise.

Access Control

Enabling Need to Know and Need to Share

By providing state-based roles with fine-grained control down to the field group level, Distillery Intelligence Server supports both need to know and need to share. Records can be shared with confidence across the enterprise.

Build Forms Fast

Once an entity has been defined, users can rapidly develop new search and edit forms using the template editor, which automatically generates a new set of web-based forms containing all attribute fields, in their sub-groups.

Form Wizard

Customize Layout With HTML and IQ Tags

Forms generated with the Template Editor can then be further customized using standard HTML, as well as IQ Tags, which are used to interact with data from the underlying repository, and which combined, allows users to build very powerful capabilities.

Business Rules

In addition to constraints defined on individual attributes in the Workbench, users can also build centralised validation rules which can then be reused across the repository by multiple entities and attributes.

Rule Editor

Rapid Report Generation & Configuration

Similar to the Form Wizard, new reports for an entity can be rapidly generated using the report wizard, then customised using XML or HTML and IQML (our proprietary tags designed to support data retrieval) to provide high quality, targeted reports.

Report Wizard

Manage Code Tables Simply & Quickly

Code tables are used extensively in any application, and the Code Table Manager allows quick and easy access to those tables for creation and maintenance. The Code Table Manager supports multidimensional tables as well as hierarchical data structures to capture categories and subcategories.
